Security Certification

Security Certified Program

The two Certifications offered are the SCNP (Security Certified Network Professional) and the SCNA (Security Certified Network Architect). These two certifications have been designed to move the security pros skill set from the must-have skills of defensive network security systems up through the newer trusted needs of security.

SCNP - Security Certified Network Professional
The SCNP program will focus on the two critical areas of security that are the foundational defense of networks: Firewalls and Intrusion Detection. The SCNP program is divided into two courses, the first being Network Security Fundamentals (NSF) and the second being Network Defense and Countermeasures (NDC). Please check the respective pages for further details about each course.

NSF - Network Security Fundamentals
NDC - Network Defense and Countermeasures

SCNA - Security Certified Network Architect

The SCNA program is where those individuals who wish to take their Security Skills to the next level will excel. In this program candidates will learn how network security is moving towards trusted communication, and how the defensive schemes alone are not enough. Dealing with two of the most exciting and critical areas of communication, the SCNA program will deal extensively with PKI and Biometrics.

The SCNA program is divided into two courses, as well. The first course is PKI and Biometrics Concepts and Planning (PBC). The second course is PKI and Biometrics Implementation (PBI). Please check the respective pages for further details about each course.

PBC - PKI and Biometrics Concepts and Planning
PBI - PKI and Biometrics Implementation
