Networking
Planning, Design & Implementation
Properly executed, a well-planned network can make life much easier
for any business. Poorly planned and executed networks seem to be
a source of unending misery, with constant problems and endless
repairs. At Executive 2000, we specialize in computer networks
like few others: we not only design, build and maintain networks
for our clients, we also teach others how (Executive 2000 teaches
Microsoft, Novell, Linux, UNIX, and Cisco for certification).
Obviously, if we can teach it, we can build a network around it.
As
instructors, we're very aware of all of the things that go on
"behind the scenes" on a network. We work with the technology
every day in our offices, our client's offices, and in our classrooms,
so we've become well acquainted with the intricacies of the task.
From small peer-to-peer networks to multi-story office structures,
we've done it. Professionally.

When
Executive 2000 begins a project, we start at the beginning
and progress from there (yes, it sounds silly to have to say that,
but we've seen enough of what other people do). Every project
is handled individually by an active, certified instructor. That
way, you know things are being handled properly right from the
start. We examine your business needs, office layout, security
needs and projected growth as a basis for the plan, then use our
expertise to design the best network solution for you. Next, we
pilot test the new network at our offices, to ensure that all
is ready for you.
Once we know that the physical planning and preparation are done,
we create the appropriate user accounts and give them appropriate
group memberships, to ensure that they can access everything they
need to, but no one accesses things that they shouldn't. We can
also create a folder-and-file structure to enhance security and
efficiency. These are also tested in the pilot program.
When all is ready, we assemble the new network in your office,
just as it should be.
From
design to testing to implementation, we do it right.
